Mobile Team Unit 13 provides high quality, cost effective training and criminal justice-related information for law enforcement personnel in the East Central Illinois area composed of Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Jasper, Moultrie, and Shelby counties.

MTU13 operates under the authority of the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board as one of 16 Mobile Training Units in the state of Illinois.

Goals

• Encourage officers to upgrade their skills and knowledge
• Provide training opportunities locally and on a flexible schedule
• Offer quality training that meets local needs
• Provide training for correctional officers, established 911 members, and part-time officers
